What helps the provider respond accurately
- The source: plumbing, appliance, roof, storm, sewer, or unknown.
- Whether water is still coming in and whether you have shut it off.
- Which rooms and materials are wet, and roughly when it started.
- Whether the water is clean, from an appliance, or sewage or outside water.
- Whether you own or rent, live in an HOA, and plan to file an insurance claim.
- Gate codes or access notes for gated or rural properties.
What happens next
